Read Writivism Non Fiction at Deyu African

Deyu African has started publishing creative non fiction from the 2016 Writivism non fiction workshop held early this year in Accra, Ghana. The series started off yesterday with an essay about self-acceptance and black beauty by Karen Mukwasi from Zimbabwe. To read I am Beautiful Too, click here.

Deyu African, in 2016 is dedicating more coverage to creative non-fiction and at Writivism, we are proud to partner with them. The Writivism – Deyu African partnership is entering its third year. In 2014 and 2015, the website published flash fiction from the Writivism workshops and mentoring programmes.

Founded by Sophie Alal, Deyu African is a non-profit that publishes folk tales, literary work, commentary and journalism about arts and culture. They are on Facebook as Deyu African.
