Afriwowri (African women writers) Literary Project is a journal of African expression that brings young African women together to share their stories with the world.
The purpose is to curate fresh, unique and startling voices telling a holistic collection of daily African experiences. We want stories bordering on the controversial, the unknown, the pervasive and the untold.
We are collecting stories for a free E- anthology of short stories which explore diverse feminine themes from a woman’s perspective. It should be a source of inspiration and awareness to young women.
This vital anthology will feature English language writing from African women and millennials. Exceptional works which explore themes in a new insightful manner will be shortlisted.
Deadline for submission is 31st March,2017.
This project is in collaboration with The Radioactive Blog and Sparkle Writers Hub. Media partners are Writivism, iHarare and Namibian Opportunities. Other supporters include Josephine Ngminvielu Kuuire of Mumble Photography for the cover photo.
